Compassionate Oxford:
We were delighted to be part of this year’s Eynsham Carnival, where our stall provided a welcoming space for people of all ages to come together, connect, and take part in a range of activities.
It was wonderful to see children, young people, adults, and older residents curious to get involved in rippling out compassion intent across the county. Our Young Compassion Ambassadors generated fantastic engagement throughout the day amongst themselves, making beaded bracelets and completing the puzzles in record time!
The conversations, laughter, and new connections between people of different generations was a powerful element of the Eynsham carnival, reflecting the strong sense of community that we are passionate about building across Oxfordshire.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped by our stall and helped make the day such a positive experience. A special thank you to the volunteers involved both in planning and being involved on the day. We are already looking forward to returning next year with even more activities and opportunities for people to get involved in nurturing compassion in their community.
